The Series C16 PortaSens II portable gas leak detector includes the unique feature to measure a variety of different gases by simply inserting the appropriate sensor for that gas.

How it works

This one handed operated gas detector provides the ability to perform regular checks in gas storage areas, around process equipment and piping, or in confined spaces prior to entry. The sample pump and flexible sampling wand allows the source of the leak to be identified.

Interchangeable smart sensors – the versatile nature allows the detection for over 30 gases; Bromine, Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, Fluorine, Ozone, Iodine, Ammonia, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Chloride/Cyanide, Oxygen, Phosgene, Nitric Oxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Sulfur Dioxide, Arsine, Diborane, Germane, Phosphine, Silane, Ehtylene Oxide, Formaldehyde, Alcohol, Acetylene, etc.

The GasSens stationary gas monitor is a flexible component able to meet individual gas detection and alarm requirements. It can be used in chemical and petrochemical plants to food processors, providing a reliable leak detection and low maintenance.

How it works:

The individual receiver modules are the basis for the detection and alarm system. Each compact module includes a digital display of gas concentration, isolated analog output, and 4 relay outputs.

Receivers may be located up to 1000 feet from sensor/transmitters for remote indication, or can provide local control functions such as valve shutoff while transmitting a 4-20 mA signal to remote displays or data loggers.

LED display – the display indicates the gas concentration directly in PPM, PPB, or a percentage. It also comes with a backlight for low visibility conditions.


Remote Reset Input: Terminals are provided for connection of a remote reset switch so that alarms can be acknowledged from a remote location or through a telemetry system.


The wet H2S gas monitor utilised specially developed sensor technology allowing the continuous monitoring of hydrogen sulphide in both inlet and discharge air, where condensing humidity conditions are normal.

How it works:

The odour monitoring system uses the Q45 electronics package in conjunction with a special “Wet H2S” sensor.

Measurements may be made either at the inlet to scrubber systems where concentrations can run as high as 200 PPM, or at the outlet where concentrations are ideally down below 0.5 PPM.

Special sensor configurations are available for either duct insertion or flowcell use.
